Wild Jackfruit [Anjili Chakka]

Wild Jackfruit is also called with Latin word - Artocarpus hirsutus Lam. 

             
               Wild Jackfruit is also called Hebbalasu  [ಹೆಬ್ಬಲಸು] in Kannada, Vadahar in Hindi,Panasah in Sanskrit,Pachpanas in konkani, Aiyini Pala, Kurangu Pala, Pei Pala in Tamil, Ayini Palavu in Malayalam, Adavi panasa in Telugu,Pejakai in Tulu. 
          These fruits are only available from January to May.

The flowers begin first

The flowers are first starts in January Month, and then the pieces will starts in February after the January, Jackfruit will getting bigger day by day. Jackfruit grow by the end of the March. Finally we get beautiful, sweetest Jackfruit in March Month end or, April-May month.

This natural bridge stands on a small stream of water

   
          The bridge is called in Kannada "KALLU SANKA". "Kallu" means "Stone"  and "Sanka" means "bridge".between sagar to jog falls road we have this one.

              It is a tourist destination. Tourists come to see this for many years.

           

          The bridge is powerful enough to pass the bike at a time. Peoples are also use this bridge to go one side to another side.

There is a small temple on the other side of the bridge. Local people go to the temple to worship.
